Get Involved
As a Host
Do you think that hosting would be fun but are a bit nervous about a strange man sleeping on your couch? We can connect you with some amazing women and foster some beautiful friendships!
As a Guest
Have you ever changed your status on couchsurfing only to be instantly contacted by a LOT of men who are so friendly, you start to get paranoid?
I've been on the couchsurfing site for YEARS and never once done it because of the huge amount of messages from men on the site. Maybe some people use it like Tinder, but that wasn't what I was looking for.
Everyone wants to feel safe when they sleep- but truthfully, it's harder for women to feel safe around men that they don't know very well.
We can help you find a place where you don't have to give that kind of complication a second thought.

Community Guidelines
Honesty
Be clear in your communication while having empathy for other members. Every situation must be mutually beneficial. If it's not working for you, say so!
Empathy
An exhausted traveler landing on the couch in someones' home can be a uniquely challenging situation. Hosts know that travelers can be tired, or not understand nuances or cultural implications of different situations. One of the biggest gifts that a host can give is information about styles of communication, language or dress in their area. Travelers can have appreciation and empathy that hosts are sharing a small slice of their experience. We hope it will be easy, but we encourage everyone to have empathy.
Helpfulness
Be helpful when you can, and ask how you can help
Anyone who is reported to have particpated in harmful activity towards any member will be removed from the community. There will be no prorated refunds for membership dues.
Before anyone grows resentful, communication needs to be clear- even if it's a polite "thank you" and moving on.
Leave No Trace
Travelers will do their best to leave no trace when they move on to a new place.
